Arizona 2019

One upside to not being able to shoot any photo sessions while in self-quarantine is finally getting to catch up on editing my personal photos. My family took a trip to Arizona in June 2019, and it was so beautiful! It’s so unique and different from what we’re used to in Tennessee. To start, we flew into Phoenix and stayed the night before getting up the next morning to make the gorgeous drive to Sedona. On the way we made a few stops, one being Montezuma’s Castle and Well pictured below. It was unbelievable seeing where people had actually made spaces and lived in the rocks. Once in Sedona we walked Bell Rock trail, visited cute little shops where we tried cactus fries (delicious by the way), visited Slide Rock, and walked to the Holy Chapel of the Cross also pictured below. It was surreal being surrounded by such beautiful scenery—the rocks almost look fake! We also made the drive up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for a day. It’s amazing to see. We had a small run-in with an elk while we were there and fortunately, did not see any dangerous squirrels. Even though the Grand Canyon was beautiful, the best part of the trip by far was getting to drive the trails in Sedona on our own for a few hours. Editing the photos has me wanting to go back. Here’s to hoping this is all over soon, so everyone can travel to all the places. Now to decide which ones to print.

The pictures don’t do it justice, but below are just a few of the MANY I took!
